I'm doing this on my phone, so it might not read normal thanks to good 'ole auto correct.
Here's my update for the last three months. On August 22nd, we were playing kickball at work, and I tripped between 2nd and 3rd base. I landed on my face/skull.
To make a super long story short, when I fell I hit my head so hard, I caused/made a subdural hematoma in my brain. (Bleeding between the layers of the brain.)
I can honestly say this is the worst thing I've gone through in my life. I'm forgetting words I've said my whole life, stuttering on words, have words I just literally and physically cannot say. My balance is super off, and I've been doing physical therapy for balance which is helping I think, but so brutal on feet it's making my Planterfasciitis come back. I use a crutch for safety. It was supposed to be a 4 prong cane, but they were out of those. Today I got a handicap placard for driving, which I'm only supposed to do if necessary.
Oh yes, have I mentioned my head hurts? It's like no other headaches or migraines I've had before. I haven't been to work since then, and as of right now, my go back to work date is November 6th. I'm scared.
Plus, this whole thing makes me not have an appetite, and I'm gaining weight from it. Even better.
I feel I need a break from life. The worst part is I'm actually not complaining. Just stating facts.
Other than all that I'm doing ok, and hoping that my work doesn't fire me because this has all been done under workers comp. I know that legally they can't, but they can sure start looking for reasons.
Just ready to resume real life again, and be done with all this!

My 3 Stripling Warriors
So on the 24th of July Parade, our boys got to participate in the 2000 Stripling Warriors March. It was so cool. So the Relief Society cut out all of their costumes. And they were all given a staff to decorate if they would like. Of course my boys loved that part and went to Hobby Lobby and picked out all things gross like furs and feathers and covered my house in floating fur and bits of feathers. Our stake said all young men ages 12 to 25 could march. Javie didn't quite make the cut-off but I guess our Young Mens leader had a hard time saying no when he asked him. Haha, Javie should be a lawyer when he grows up, he is quite the little persuasive artist. (alas his mom's dreams for him are going up in flames, he wants to be a stunt double or a trapeze artist). Anyway, it went down like this. There were two men on horses that were dressed like Nephites that were leading them. One of them carried The Title of Liberty up front for everybody to see. Then there were 2 city blocks completely full of marching young men. It was crazy. They had a huge speaker in the middle of them playing We are as the Armies of Helaman song. Then all the boys sang along with it and did some sort of staff stomp at the end of the song each time. Dax said everytime he looked at the crowd there were cameras everywhere he looked. He said he never looked up once without seeing one. He also said there people crying everywhere. Well I thought it was pretty cool and it would be sweet to see, but I did not expect to be so overwhelmed with the Spirit. I was bawling like a little girl. I looked over and there was Trita with her head in her hands just sobbing. I think it touched a lot of people. So crazy to see so many valiant young men and think back to how the moms must have felt back then. Crazy and unexpectedly cool experience for the Davis triplets.

We Got Ourselves a Family Pic!
hey heeeyyyyy! so i was playing around in Photoshop and added our two missing family members to one of our family pics. whether they like it or not. wahaha they are now stuck in the pic! this happened to be the best one to use because the space was easier for me to manipulate(not that you care about that..ha). but i think it turned out okay. especially for it being my first time cropping someone in(or two)! ha ha. don't look too closely or you will see josh's head looks a little too big. at least kevin keeps leaning over my shoulder and telling me that. but i'm too tired and lazy right now to correct it.

The reason my marriage is on the rocks every Dec
So I think Josh actually doesn't mind the chocolates, he is pretty supportive, and hardly says anything when I neglect to make dinner for 2 weeks. But when I am done with the chocolates and start on the cookies for all the neighbors, the tension starts to get a little high. That doesn't count the carmels and pretzels and all the other holiday treats I feel I need around to make it feel like the holidays. Haha, crazy girl, the thing is, all my sisters do it. We go crazy right around the holiday time and slam in every thing we possible can right up until the last minute. Where do you think we get it Mom?

Another Day in the Life of Jav
I dropped Javie off at dance at 4:00 and came back to pick him up at 6:00. When I picked him up he seemed a little sad. I asked him what was wrong, and this is how his story went: I'm sad because at 5:00 I switched classes and in between the switch I ran upstairs to the bending machine and wanted to get this awesome big pack of donuts for $1.50. But I already spent all of my money but a $1.25. So I laid on the floor to see if there was any money under the machines and I saw something big and silver (there are 2 receptionists right there facing the vending machines) I couldn't reach it, so I ran outside and climbed up a tree. (Just so you know, these are the little landscaping trees about 12 feet tall in front of the building). I broke off a limb and stuck it under my shirt so that they wouldn't see me, and came back in. So I got the money with the stick, but it was only a nickel, the 2nd to worst one I could get. Then I only had $1.30, and it wasn't even enough to get anything good, cuz I already bought the powerade."
Then I asked him where he was getting all this money to spend on junk food anyway. He said, "oh ya know how you gave me, and Sydney, and Ellie all a dollar, well they gave it back to me and said, we can't take your mom's money."

Halloween Half (and all its torture)
Okay, I know I have been posting tons lately, sorry peeps. But you just gotta love this. Here was my Halloween Costume - Robyn. So the first 4 miles of this race was starting in Sundance, and it was pretty steep downhill. (It killed my knee) But the greatest part, I peed my pants, which I always do if I run for very far. On this one, I just happened to pee my pants in the first mile. Then there were cameras everywhere, snapping shots of you while you run.
So the first pic you can't tell as much, but here is a good one of it on this pic. Turns out I wore a few layers and they were all right there, just waiting to get my skirt wet. So for the next 12 miles, I ran with a big wet skirt in the front, just showing off all my glory front and center.

Daiz's Halloween - For Better or For Worse
Cute little Daiz as a Princess Pirate. She wore the hat all day. She played in the trunk while we passed out candy.
This is after we raced home for ice to the head and a bath. She took a dive right out of the Lincoln.
Here is a sweet side shot of her unicorn growing bigger.
Here is about a half hour later, a little calmer, and showing off a little bit of a hamburger look.

Halloween Davis Style
Dax was a hippie.
Toj, after no thought whatsoever, put on this mask.
Jav had Josh draw a skeleton on his clothes, but at the last
minute opted out of face paint. Who is he? It's Halloween.
Mag was my favorite costume. We went to 6 stores and he didn't want a costume from any of them. He said lets just find something at home.
I found 3 costumes for him to choose from and this is the one he
picked. He didn't care that is was CRAZY SMALL. Haha, I
laughed my head off the entire time and he was one happy camper.

Need a nap?
Have you ever been so tired, you just fall asleep anywhere? In any position? Haha, this was the middle of the day during lunch, he was like that for about 25 minutes, until his phone rang and woke him up.
Jav had a substitue teacher
We made caramel apples, and let the kids take one to their teacher. Javie came home and told me Mrs. Galt had a substitute today. I asked him if he left it on her desk for her. He said, Mom, I just couldn't resist, I just took one bite. I thought he was teasing. Then he pulls it out of his backpack. Then he says, Mom, it was just too good, I couldn't stop at just one bite. The he walks off like, well that's how it went down, you would have done it too Mom.

Mag's Prayer
So Mag asked Candi (she's the primary secretary) when he was going to get one of those paper thingies. He wanted to be asked to do something in primary. Well what do you know? Sydney Taylor was gone and couldn't give the opening prayer. Candi asked Mag if he wanted to say the prayer. Yep, he walked straight up to the pulpit without batting an eye, waited for everyone to be quiet, and started in on his 5 minute prayer. I kid you not. I wasn't sure if I should go up or not, I knew he didn't need any help, but possibly a little direction (mabes like when to stop or something like that), but he gave no possible time for that. He said the funniest things, the entire primary was stifling their laughter. I was shaking I was laughing so hard. He thanked Heavenly Father for all the colors on the earth because I love colors. He thanked him for the colors of all the United States. (he has a map of the US that he likes to do, and all of the states are colored, of course no one else knew his first part referred to the globe and he thinks it is all blue and brown, and the 2nd part referred to about 5 colors that all of the states are) He thanked Heavenly Father that the Devil could learn to choose the right and make good choices and turn good. He thanked him that if anyone wants to go to Paris and they think they will like the Eiffel Tower then they can go across the ocean and go see the Eiffel Tower. He then blessed that the devil could turn good and quit making bad choices. Then he thanked him again that the Devil could turn into a good person and just be good. He blessed that we can make wise choices not foolish choices like the man that built his house upon the sand. He blessed that the bad guys can quit smoking and turn into good guys. He probably got out about 30 sentences. I could only understand about the last half of it, I was too sidetracked trying to figure out if I should have gone up or not. I knew some of what was going to come. He always blesses the devil and for bad guys to turn good. I kept looking up trying to decide what to do, and every adult in the place was laughing. The bishop's wife was totally turned around in her seat and full on staring at me, laughing so hard. Everybody else was trying to cover it up, or just peeking out at me throughout the prayer. I had tears running down my face by the end. He sat down so darn proud of himself. Meanwhile 5 of us women were trying to fix our makeup because we had tears running down our face. Every adult in the entire room but 2 came up and had to talk to me about how funny it was. (Plus our jr and sr primary's are combined) There were alot of peeps in there. Then at dinner I asked Jav if he heard Mag's prayer and he said, yeah, I laughed my head off. Mag looked right at him in all his confidence and just said, I don't care if you laugh, I don't care at all.

Since Dad and I are empty nesters we decided to go through Yellowstone Park and drive to some of the places we always skip. Just an over-nighter, but it was pretty fun. We turned the car around to go back and see some white tail deer on the mountain and just as we got there a bear walked across the road in front of us. Couldn't get my camera out in time. And of course the other one we missed was a bull elk with a huge rack running through a stream. By the time we got stopped he was in the trees. So no picture again.
Anyway, these are a few of the shots we took.
