we moved....

Well, we made it to Texas!!! We've been here for just over a week. We drove through some pretty sweet places, like the big tornado that hit Alabama and killed lots of peeps, Hattiesburg, (where Bud was when Katrina hit), Nashville, and some other cool cities. We left Ohio at a good time, right before more tornadoes came ripping through the midwest. (Thanks for all your concerns.)

We got moved in and have unpacked everything but a couple of boxes. We LOVE our new house. Every day, I'm just happy to be in it. It's hotter than Haites though right now, and will just get hotter. So anyone looking for a sunny, hot vacation, come here. There's even palm trees here. :) C'mon, you'll love it! Jete and Jerzi love it here too. They love having a back yard, and a house. Jete told me before we got here he was most excited to move here so that he could stomp around. (That's when you know you've been in an apartment too long.) Poor little Jete, he's gonna have a perma-red face for the next three years. He runs and sweats and eats popsicles like crazy. Luckily, we get to shower now though, since for the first week we didn't have hot water. Things are good here now. Love and miss ya'all.

1. I want this. I want it bad. Does anyone else need this? It's kind of expensive at $12-(10+2 for shipping), but maybe we can all go in on this together....and get it cheaper somehow.



It's a little black book for you to keep track of who you want to punch. I am assuming it would help me vent every single day just by writing their name down. :-)

Ang's Shower

So I know everyone was leery about all the stuff I wanted to do for the shower, but it turned out real cute and it wouldn't have without everyones help, so I just wanted to tell everyone thanks. It turned out really cute, even though we all had to run around with our heads chopped off because I am awesome and locked the keys in my car. So thank you everyone for all your help and hard work. I am sure I was a beast, so sorry. Every single person helped out, and I couldn't have done any of this stuff without every ones help. I listed what some of the peeps did with the decorations but everyone helped in one way or another. Mom made the chicken salad,the strawberries, mailed the invitations, helped make some of the other salads, same as Bird. Ern bought all the croissants ran errands and helped babysit, Audrey had to hold Casha while I was running around with my head chopped off, sweating to death, and she helped Say (and took her to the bathroom), Holl went and bought a bunch of fruit that morning and made a salad, Case made one, Dustin and Alissa made two.Case made a chicken salad and a green salad, LInz made that stinkin good drink and I know I am forgetting stuff. When we got to the church every person was running like mad, helping in one way or another, so thanks everyone. Sorry it turned into madness, but thanks everyone for being willing to help with everything. Ang, me and LInz had a ton of fun planning it (okay so I don't know if Linz loved getting my phone calls every day with new ideas but I had fun), and I hope you and everyone else had a good time. Thanks peeps, and thanks Linz for letting me take over, go crazy and not care :)

So these were some dang cute napkins that I made. I take credit and say they are so cute, only cuz I copied them right off the internet. I didn't take any pictures of them at the shower, so today I busted a few of the extras out and threw a ribbon on them that isn't that cute. The ones at the shower had black ribbon with pink polka dots on them. They were stinkin cute. And, the other cute circle tags, Case made. These were on all the candy jars, which I didn't take a picture of (dang it, check Audrey's blog, she did). Case they turned out way cute. I collected all of them after, so if you want them back, let me know, and if not, I will gladly keep them :)

This is a blanket that Mom made Ang. It is SO cute. I was dying over it and I think everyone else was too. Good job Mom, I LOVE it.

Liss had the busiest day of her life, but we were glad she was able to come to the shower for a little bit. She scheduled the church, got the tablecloths for us and had the great idea to do it the weekend we did. Thanks Liss!

Linz was doing Drez's hair for part of the shower, we were glad you got to come for a little bit Drez. Linz came up with the cutest candy bar game (see Audrey's blog), made those stinkin cute invitations, and got some fun candy and balloons (and more stuff too).

Peeps gettin food. All the food was dang good. Seriously, everything was so good, everyone kept going back for more.

The present table. I had more decorations and ideas for this table, but you know, ran out of time.

This was at the front of the room. Holl made the cute ruffled back drop (she had to sew every strip individually) and Audrey made the cute Its a Girl sign.

And the last one. The pink in them is Tulle. Oh yea and Holl made those cute flowers on the jars out of felt. Mom made the black centerpiece tablecloths (they are from Linz's wedding). I made the pink centerpiece things, they are tulle too, with ribbon sewed on the edges. And I had a ton of pink tulle to put all over, and pink tulle to tie bows around each of the chairs, but no time.
