Whoa!

Yay to all these posts!!! I haven't checked the blog for a long long time cuz it turned out to be the craps and no one ever posted. Then I got the random thought to check it today and what d'ya know? Posts all over the place! I loved it. And I laughed a lot....at the posts, at the comments, and at the pictures.

So instead of commenting on each one, I thought i'd just post it all right here, with a little snidbit to each peep. First off Ang, you were right. We need to do something on this blog so that we keep posting and keep checking it. I have no good ideas..... but we should def. do something. (And Ang, I saw all of Audrey's pics of your cruise and not ever once did I think ew to any of the pics of you. Only I thought, gosh dang it, I wish we would have been there with you guys!) And that pic of you and Daizee is so stinkin cute. Sometimes I forget that she's around since I haven't seen her (like in the family calendar that Kerr made, I asked who that baby was, and one other kid, I can't remember who it is now. Sad day.), so like I told you before, you can post as many pics of her in as many outfits as you want, and I would greatly appreciate it. :) And Mamma's soup? I vaguely remember some nasty soup that we were forcefed, but I can't tell if it's just from picturing what you described or if I really ate it. HAHA Maybs they stopped making it/making us eat it when it got down to us younger kids cuz obviously they had a lot of success in getting you guys to eat it.
Linz, good work on their presents. I still freakin love those shoes! Now the qestion, does Josh wear those out to work? haha And the pillows are super cute! I need some new ones for my couches bad, and I wish I had those, but to match my house of course.
Ernie McErns (and Mom), your present to Josh and Linz is super cute. Good job on thinkin of somethin like that, and comin up with the idea and colors and such. Mom, good work on busting it out in like 1 second, how you do things. I wish that is how I could do stuff. But no....we all know it takes me like twice as long, plus another half more to do anything. How did I become like that? Oh and that watch is the goods that you got of Grandma's. It would be fun to know the story behind it. It makes me wonder what people are going to want to know the story behind of me and my stuff, and makes me think a little bit that I should write in a journal.
Bird, I already told you, but your blanket looked bombin. I wanted to use it the whole time it was just layin around upstairs before Ern came. And I may have used it just like once Ern before you got it. :) Love you!
Holl, I don't really have too much to comment on your book post, cuz well....I can't even remember the last book that I read, or when I read it. But I was inspired to go the library and look a few months ago. Then when I got there, I tried to find 2 different books, and it said there was a wait of like 150 people or something crazy like that. So I went home and haven't thought about reading a book since. Christmas looked fun at your house Holl. I like your little Snowman decoration. And then mainly I just laughed at the comments on that post. And Jeffycakes, thuggin it up. Nice! Oh and I don't know too much about music....mainly just country which probs isn't best to run to.

Well, those are all my comments to everyone's posts so far. Keep postin and maybs one of these days I will too.

Here's an update from me: I'm potty training Jerz right now. She's struggling with pooping and doesn't dare to go in the toilet. We gave her an enema one time to help her go cuz it had been so long. And three times she has pooped her pants. But the last time she did it, she didn't want me to know, so she went up in my bathroom and tried to pretend she pooped in the toilet. I went up to check on her and she was just getting off the toilet. I asked her what she was doing and she said in an excited voice, "Go poop in the toilet!" I looked over and there was a big poop blob, stuck to the front of the toilet, and poop smeared all across her legs, bum and toilet seat. She tried to wipe herself too! Plus there was poop in her undies. I want to die. And last night I had a dream that she did that again, and I just kept beating her, literally, trying to get it into her head that she has to go in the toilet. Please pray for her and me.

It stinks!

It stinks around here, a lot.  There is so much stinky pollution, it's disgusting.  Every day when I wake up it smells like a garbage bonfire has been burning outside my window and the smell creeps in.  Oh, wait, there are garbage fires, in the streets as people are trying to get warm at night. I looked out the window the other day and it was all gray and murky.  I said to Grey, "look how polluted it is out there."  He answered in a don't exaggerate mom, tone of voice, "It's not THAT polluted, I can still see across the street."  Pretty awesome huh? Two days ago Mason couldn't go out for recess at school.  There was too much pollution in the air, three times as much as normal, they told him, and normal is not good here.  I hope our poor lungs can recover from all of this deluxe living we're going over here.   So, take a deep breath, wherever you are and enjoy all of that good oxygen you're getting.  Lucky!

My favorite Christmas pictures

I know it's the end of January, but I thought I better share my favorite Christmas pictures. We had Christmas Eve dinner with our friends the Josephsons. Kelly gave Jeff his favorite present, by far, a do-rag. Here he is modeling it with Kelly.

Everyone got in on the fun, tying whatever they could around their heads, mostly ribbon, since Kira is the ribbon queen and it was abounding there after opening a few presents.

My last favorite Christmas picture is this lady. Every Christmas Eve we tape newspaper up in the doorways of our house that lead to the Christmas tree. The next morning our boys LOVE breaking through the paper and running in to see what surprises are inside. This year, this lady was put up right at eye level on both doors. Doesn't she have a cool face? I love it.

Help, Help, Help

Hi peops,

I got an ipod nano for Christmas.  I'm getting excited to use it on one of my boring runs around and around the school.  The prob is that I know no songs.  For real.  None.  So, can you peops write some of your favorite songs, especially if they're upbeat, ya know, to help me run faster, not slower.  I know you don't want to do this, but just do it anyway.  I'll be your best pal.  Holl

Christmas festivities

Santa came to CAC on a camel this year. Here he is waiting for Santa to arrive. The kids at school loved it, the camel stopped right in the middle of all of the kids and took a leak, all over the sidewalk, for about 3 minutes. The whole school was laughing their heads off. It was pretty dang funny. They're not kidding when they say camels can store a lot of water. Sheesh!

Our friends gave us these glasses that make the lights on the Christmas tree look like snowmen and snowflakes. They were pretty fun.

Apparently the glasses look really awesome upside down.

Miles got some cars and puzzle that he played with every minute on Christmas day, and not a single time since. I keep getting it out and putting it in strategic locations so he can play it sometime, but he never does.

One of the boys' main presents was snorkeling gear for when we go to the Red Sea. Now, Miles and I are the only ones in the family that don't have it. I'm not hinting at anything, I'm just stating the facts.  I'm super happy I got some water shoes for my birthday though. I hope to never impale my toe on a starfish again. Pain!!

Um, I accidentally posted this picture. How do you like it?

Grandma Fuller's watch

I dont know if anyone else will care about this, but when I went to mom & dad's in August, I found Grandma's watch! (It was displayed on a bookshelf.)  I dont know if ya'll will remember that Grandpa gave that to me when I was 16.  I left it in my pocket, and it also got washed in the washing machine when I was 16.  I paid my entire bonus to get it fixed this August, and this is how it turned out! I think it looks amazing.  I also found a 1940  advertisement that has that watch on it.  Right now there is a original watch box for it on eBay. Im struggling with trying to decide if I should buy it.  It was $18 back then.  That's $290 in today's money, and is solid gold.  It's very tiny, the face is the same size as a dime.  I love this watch because it was Grandma's.  I wish I knew the story behind it, since that was a ton of money back then and it must of been a very special occasion. Love it!

This is what Bird made me for Christmas. A double fleece blanket. It's stinkin cute, plus it's super warm which is great since we keep our house at 63. I also slept with it in Linz's room at mom and dads with the window open (17 degrees out) and it kept me very warm.  Good job Bird!

A few good books

I decided to put a few books that I've read lately and liked a lot, just in case anyone is looking for some.  Lately I've been reading a lot of young adult books, I think that's what most of these are.

So, my kindle is turning into a piece of junk and it won't turn on right now.  Neh!  Here's just a couple that I remember.

Michael Vey by Richard Paul Evans

The Maze Runner Trilogy by James Dashner

And I guess that's it since my kindle needs to get thrown in the garbage can.

my christmas gifts

Our Homemade Christmas Presents

These shoes are totally awesome. So Josh has these really nerdy black New Balance shoes that he wears to work in. He looks like an old hospital workin Grandma. But he swears that they are the only things he can stand in all day in the shop without hurting his feet. So he sometimes get teased about them. Then once he told Baby and Josh that girls are so lucky because they get all the cool shoes with everything fun on them and boys get ripped off with boring stuff. So Baby and Josh bought some sweet shoes that he can wear out in the shop, and then they Bedazzled them together. I love it. Notice the snakeskin ribbon along the bottom edge, the hearts on the sides, and although you can't see it, there is a J on the back of one shoe, and a D on the back of the other shoe. Comfort and Beauty!
Also, they gave Josh another unbelievable present, they got him the new Galaxy II phone, which he has been wanting forever, and LOVES! You guys are amazing, you did way too much for us, and we loved every second of it. Thank you!

Okay, this is what Baby made for me for my couches. (although it hurt just a little when she said that my current pillows look gray) I guess the sheer cuteness of these pillows will help me not be as hurt.
S

So she also made this stinkin cute skirt and rosette clips for Daiz. She actually made me a few headbands, Daiz a few clips, and also a few cards that were so cute, but I don't know that you peeps want me to post everything.

Can You Believe It?

So I was going through Mom's awesome cookbook she made us for Christmas and I found the recipe for Mama's Soup. Suddenly I had a craving for a Little Mama's Soup with Dumplings. What the heck? Hol, do you remember gagging everytime we had it? How about the times dad force fed you, and you threw up on him? Haha, I love it.
So, in a very unAngie-like fashion, I zipped over to the store and decided to bottle some right then and there. I got 20 quart of Mama's Soup. My whole family liked it, unless you include Mag crying at every bite, which he does often, and Toj sneaking over to the garbage can and throwing away the onions and cabbage (which only made me laugh because it was awfully familiar). Plus Nat and Dax went back and picked out all the dumplings and ate them after we all finished eating. Good times guys, thought this might bring back a few memories, and mabes tears for some of the wimpier ones.
