Today we got flooded good. the temperature warmed up to 47 and all the water in the snow melted and had no where to go but down, so our back patio filled up and kept filling up. Kenny hooked up the sump pump and it was coming in about 10 times faster than we were pupping it out. Josh Freeman got his dads pump and hooked it up, still couldn't pump it out asfast as it was filling up. Dad sent me to buy another sump pump. I met one of his former students in Ace and he told me he'd go get his 5 horse pump and bring it over and let us use it. Before he got here we had sand bagged the door and the water still came in a little. His pumps out about 5 times more water than ours does. After two and a half hours it has dropped about 4 inches. The water is no longer coming in the house. Hopefully it didn't ruin the air conditioner. Burke is letting us keep his pump here for as long as we need it.
These pictures are of the water in the pasture. Most of which we have dumped in there and around the house. You can see where the water level was on the lawn in the last one. I didn't get pictures of how deep it was because my battery was dead when I first tried to take them.
