And out comes the baby!

My mom just had her baby!!!!The baby was upside down!So she had a sea section!!!!! Now all is well, the baby is born, her full name is Brityn Azure Fuller. She is 7lb 13.2oz, 19inches long. She was born at 12:42pm. 6\8\09. She is SO cute!!!

Going to Land of the Lost

So...

Dustin & Alissa and their 3 kids, Ang & Josh and their 4 kids, Jean & Zach, Me, Linz, and Bird all went to Land of the Lost last night. Ok, can I just say, What a horrible, horrible movie!? Ang & Josh had to ask their kids to cover their eyes like 5 times, I kept thinking that Alissa was going to walk out, but she didn't. Good job Liss! It had no plot, and it was just all around gross. It did have some funny parts, but for the most part...in my personal top 10 of worst movies ever. It was kind of funny that there were so many of us, we had to take up 2 rows. That part was the goods. :)

Intervention: Cabinets in the New House

Mom and Dad, it might be time for an intervention. We are concerned about the choice of cabinets. OAK has not been put in a house since 1990 that I am aware of. It is the number one wood being removed from houses during remodels and cabinet refinishing. Most people are doing all they can to rid their houses of oak-- much like it's comtemporary shrub the nasty "fitzer," which also was big for some reason in the 80s.

The concern of alder being soft is most likely a non-issue. I've never heard anyone be concerned over the hardness or softness of a wood used for their kitchen cabinets. Wood floors, on the other hand, are often decided based on hardness and durability and in relation to traffic flow. I/we (the kids old enough to know better) are afraid that you will date and cheapen your nice house with oak cabinetry. There is a reason everyone moved to alder, knotty alder, maple, etc.

Please think this through and don't make us bring someone from HGTV channel to get you professional help. :)

Bird's Prom

Although i missed Bird's graduation and seeing her shimmy for Rexburg by one week, i did get to be there to help her get ready and take pictures for her for prom. Little events like this are what make it hard to live away from home. But i was glad i got to be there for this at least. Good thing i was there, cuz we hadn't given Mom her camera yet, and Bird couldn't find hers. Well, Bird looked super cute, and so did her date Clint.

I also decided to throw in a few pics for fun to help you all see what goes on getting ready for prom, in case you forgot how it went. :)

So Clint dropped Bird off to get ready and told her he'd be back in less than an hour. HAHA I was up at Had's dad's house, and Bird called in a panic and said "Get here and help me! They're coming in less than an hour!" Me, Amber, and Bird all had our hands in her hair, flyin around trying to get her ready before they came. Somehow, we pulled it off (mainly Amber did) and she only made him wait in the living room for a couple minutes.

Remember the awkward part where you have to pin his rose on?....Don't worry, it took Bird forever and you can tell by his face, he felt awkward. Hahah

I just thought they both looked cute in this picture, oh and it looks like Bird has an extremely long pointer finger. :) (Bird's corsage is on a slap bracelet. It was pretty sweet.)

Here's the cool car they rented for the night to come pick up their dates in, with a chauffer and everything. Fun times for all involved.
